Police in Limassol proceeded with inspections of leisure and entertainment establishments from January until July 7, 2023.
According to the Police, 96 premises were reported for various offenses such as:
- Unlicensed
- No license to sell alcoholic beverages
- No music license
- Violation of their terms and hours of operation
It is worth noting that 65 of them concerned the operation of recreational areas without a music license, while in three cases loudspeakers and amplifiers were confiscated, based on court search warrants obtained. Once completed, the cases were registered before a court for trial.
