The Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Alexis Vafeadis, confirmed that the dialogue for the expansion of the Pafos airport terminal is ongoing.
Mr. Vafeadis reminded that the works of the second phase foresee the expansion of the buildings and the channel. For the latter, due to the development of technology, works on the channel are not deemed necessary.
However, he continued, it is obvious that more than 2.7 million passengers are using the terminal at Paphos airport and the Paphos airport terminal needs to be expanded.
