The Municipality of Pafos announces that tomorrow, Wednesday 19 July, construction works will begin for Phase B of the project for the Regeneration of Theoskepasti Square and the surrounding streets in Kato Paphos.
Specifically, for the next three months and until the end of September 2023, works will be carried out on Agias Anastasias, Panagia Theoskepastis and its lanes, in the section of Alkminis Street between Ledas and Poseidonos Streets, in the section of Ledas Street between Apostolou Pavlou Avenue and the Basilica hotel complex, which will remain closed to traffic. Safe access of affected residents and visitors on foot to the residences, businesses and parking area of Panagia Theoskepasti Church will be ensured throughout the execution of the works. Poseidonos Avenue will be closed to buses.
The bulk of traffic will be served by Lida, Alkminis (section), Artemidos, Dionysou, Theoskepastis, Agios Antonios, Konstantias, Tefkros, Clytemnestras, Pafias Aphrodite and Iasonos streets and Apostolou Pavlou and Poseidonos Avenues. As the works progress, a new detailed update will be made in time with all the necessary information for the remaining phases of the project.
The Municipality of Pafos asks for the understanding of those affected for any inconvenience that will be caused in the context of the construction of the project and calls on drivers to strictly observe the road signs and signs for the safety of themselves and other road users.
