At Paphos Hospital, an elderly British permanent resident of Tala, who is a retired engineer. He was bitten by a snake outside his house.
Reportedly the same reptile or possibly a second attacked his cat. The British man was taken by ambulance to Paphos hospital where he was given antiviral serum and is being treated.
