Two years ago today, the sandal of the church was completed and on May 1st the foundation stone of the church of Agios Ephraim was deposited, in the area of the Monastery of Agios Neophytos in Tala.
This anniversary will be celebrated on May 4-6, on the feast of Saints Ephraim, Irene and Saint Sophia of Kleisoura.
One of the initiators of the construction of the church, Raphael Demetriou, told "F" that during this time the problems and trials were enough, but with prayer, patience and perseverance the dream came true.
We still have a long way to go before all the projects are completed, mainly externally, but I am sure we will continue until the end, he said.
Raphael thanked Demetriou again those who helped in any way in the construction of the church during these two years and especially the Abbot of the Holy Monastery of Agios Neophytos and Bishop of Hytron Leontios who gives his blessing to operate the Holy Chapel of St. Ephraim.
