In a search of the 54-year-old's residence, members of the Police found a number of jewels, including jewellery stolen from a residence in Limassol, after her burglary.

The arrest of the two suspects led to evidence that emerged during the investigations by members of the ICF Limassol, regarding a complaint of burglary of a residence in Limassol, last Tuesday, February 21st. Various gold jewellery, such as chains, earrings, bracelets, and rings were stolen from the residence, according to the complaint.

A judicial arrest warrant was issued against the 54-year-old, on the basis of which she was arrested yesterday for the purpose of police examinations.

The 54-year-old's arrest was followed by an investigation at her residence, where members of the ICF found a number of jewels allegedly part of the property stolen from the burglarized residence. They also found various other jewellery, watches, mobile phones, and laptops, for the possession of which the 54-year-old did not give a satisfactory explanation. She was arrested for the offence of illegal possession of property, for the purpose of police examinations to determine whether the property found was stolen.

Evidence during the police examinations also emerged against a 19-year-old relative of the 54-year-old suspect. He was also arrested yesterday, on a court warrant.
