Eight new coronavirus deaths and 2,062 positive cases, the Ministry of Health announced.
Specifically:
8 deaths announced
They concern:
- Man, aged 67, who passed away on 07/02/2023
- Man, aged 89, who passed away on 09/02/2023
- Man, aged 90, who passed away on 14/02/2023
- Woman, aged 86, who passed away on 15/02/2023
- Man, aged 85, who passed away on 20/02/2023
- Man, aged 89, who passed away on 20/02/2023
- Woman, aged 91, who passed away on 21/02/2023
- Man, aged 82, who passed away on 22/02/2023
- Total number of deaths with COVID-19 as the ultimate cause: 1,305.
- 48 COVID-19 patients are being treated in shsypy hospitals
- 12 in serious condition (ICU: 3. off ventilator/7 intubated, MAF: 2)
Diagnostic tests:
- A total of 69,346 diagnostic tests were performed
- 2,062 new cases were detected (total cases 649,093).
- Positivity rate in all tests 2,97%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
- 1,818 molecular tests were performed
- There were 108 positive cases
- Positivity rate 5.94%
Total number of rapid antigen tests:
- 67,528 rapid antigen tests performed
- There were 1,954 positive cases
- Positivity rate 2.89%
Private initiative:
- 1,380 molecular tests were performed, 69 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 5%)
- 41,624 rapid antigen tests were performed, 1,751 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 4.21%)
Through the programs of the Ministry of Health, 25,904 rapid antigen tests were performed. 203 positive cases were identified.
Sampling points: 17,269 rapid tests, 116 positive cases identified (positivity rate 0.67%)
Education
- Primary Education: 639 rapid antigen tests, 4 positive cases identified (positivity rate 0.63%)
- Secondary Education: 1,224 rapid tests, 13 positive cases detected (positivity rate 1.06%)
- Special Schools: 129 rapid antigen tests were performed, 4 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 3.1%)
Other
- Nursing homes: 4,709 rapid antigen tests performed, 64 positive cases identified (positivity rate 1.36%)
- Closed facilities: 1,934 rapid antigen tests were performed, 2 new cases were identified (positivity rate 0.1%).
