RISE IN TEMPERATURE ON GREEN MONDAY, BUT DUST IN THE ATMOSPHERE

Weak high pressure affects the area. From late Sunday afternoon, thin dust may occasionally hover in the atmosphere.

Today, the weather will be mostly clear, however at noon and early in the afternoon there will be intermittently locally increased clouds, which may give a few isolated rains on the mountainous and northwestern coasts. The winds will blow mainly northeast to southeast and later to the south and west mainly southwest to northwest, weak and transient to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm until a little turbulent. The temperature will rise to 22 degrees inland, around 20 degrees on the coast and 11 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear. During the early hours of the morning, there may be sparse fog locally, mainly on the inland and east coasts. The winds will blow mainly northwest to northeast, 3 Beaufort and the sea will be calm until a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to 7 degrees inland, around 10 degrees on the coast and 4 degrees in the higher mountains, where locally frost may form.

On Ash Monday and Tuesday the weather will be mostly clear. On Wednesday the weather will initially be mostly clear, but later on there will be intermittently increased high clouds.

The temperature will rise significantly over the three days and will fluctuate well above the average climatic values.

The height of the snow on Troodos Square, at the time of issue of the bulletin, was 24 cm.
