Animal abuse and suffering is reported by the Party for the Animals, which published a photo from a football match in which a chicken is seen dressed in the colours of a football team.
In particular, it states:
It came to the attention of the Party for the Animals of Cyprus and once again public abuse and suffering of an innocent animal. We do not know, and we do not want to know, what ultimately are the intentions of these citizens who unnecessarily use innocent animals in any manifestations that in the end are a criminal and reprehensible act.
The photo sent to the Party for the Animals clearly shows a chicken dressed in the colours of a football team.
We now wonder how far the human mind can go without thinking soberly about its actions that in the end victimize the innocent animals that were not at fault.
The Party for the Animals of Cyprus will immediately inform the competent authorities and at the same time we will ask the President of the Cyprus Sports Organisation (CSO) honourable Mr. Andreas Michaelides as well as the Director of the GSP Mr. Fivos Konstantinidis to assume their responsibilities and action to stop such phenomena and such barbaric and criminal acts against innocent animals
