IMPRISONMENT FOR DRIVER CAUGHT 7 TIMES FOR VARIOUS OFFENCES

A 10-month prison sentence was imposed by the Famagusta District Court in Paralimni on a 26-year-old man from Romania, who was found guilty in a series of cases involving traffic offences committed during the years 2020-2021 in the districts of Famagusta, Larnaka and Nicosia.

Specifically, on 12/3/2020, the 26-year-old was spotted driving on the Ayia Napa-Paralimni road while under the influence of drugs. On 1/10/20 he was spotted in Ayia Napa driving without a driving licence and while he was deprived on 16/6/2020 by the Nicosia Court of the right to hold a driver's licence for a period of 6 months.

Moreover, on 25/10/20 he was spotted driving on a public road in Larnaca while under the influence of drugs.

On 5/11/20 he was spotted driving on a public road in Pera Chorio while under the influence of drugs. On 30/1/21 he was spotted driving on the Ayia Napa-Paralimni road while under the influence of drugs. On 1/3/21 he was spotted driving on a public road in Larnaca while under the influence of drugs. On 2/4/21 he was spotted driving on a public road in Larnaca while under the influence of drugs, without a driver's licence, without a safety certificate and while he was deprived on 2/3/2021 by the Larnaca Court of the right to hold a driver's license for a period of one month.

Finally, on 27/9/21 he was spotted driving on a public road in Nicosia while under the influence of drugs, without wearing a seat belt and while holding a phone in his hand.
