The President of the Republic is making a full-day visit to the city and district of Pafos today.
The visit of President Anastasiades will start from Polis Chrysochous, where at 9.45am he will inaugurate the Multipurpose Centre for the Elderly "Eleousa tou Kykkos".
This will be followed at 10.00am by the inauguration of the pedestrian/bicycle path from Polis Chrysochous to Latchi. At 10.15 President Anastasiades will inaugurate the project of the construction of ten breakwaters in the sea area of Chrysochous Bay and at 10.30 the inauguration of the second phase of the coastal pedestrian street.
At 11.30 in the morning, President Anastasiades will celebrate the inauguration of the Pegeia Cultural Centre.
At 12 noon he will lay the foundation stone of the cultural village of Lemba and at 12.45pm he will lay the foundation stone of the western coastal pedestrian street of Paphos.
At 6 p.m., in Chloraka, he will inaugurate in the central square important works to upgrade the community.
These are the projects for the transformation of the community buildings into an adult center, the renovated Offices of the former SPE in community buildings, the first phase of redevelopment of the core and the project of redevelopment of Chlorakas Square and the surrounding area of the Church of Panagia Chrysoematousis.
