The Health Insurance Organization informs the beneficiaries that as of August 31 2022, the minimum period of the right to change personal doctor (PD) will be increased from six (6) to twelve (12) months from the date of registration of the beneficiaries in the list of their existing PD.
In addition, during the change of PD, the beneficiary now declares the reason for the change of PD, through the It System:
- In case a request for registration in a PD list is submitted through the Beneficiary Portal of the IT System, the beneficiary fills in the required field, as follows:
- Management of personal doctors – Request for registration with a personal doctor:
After searching and selecting the personal doctor for whom a registration request will be submitted, when confirming the request, the beneficiary is asked to register the reason for changing the personal doctor.
- In the event that the change of PD is completed after the beneficiary visits the PD and his/her registration in the list of his/her beneficiaries by the PD, the reason for the change of PD declared by the beneficiary is registered in the IT System by the PD.
It is noted that in both of the above cases, upon completion of the registration of the beneficiary in the PI list, the previous PD is informed by the Organization about the deletion of the beneficiary and the reason for his deletion from the list of his beneficiaries.
