According to Mr. Athanasiou, on Friday, the Minister of Health, Michalis Hatzipantelas, will have a telephone communication with the Director General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, during which, among other things, this issue will be discussed.
"The WHO Office will be located exclusively in Cyprus and will cover the countries of the Mediterranean basin and Southeastern Europe," he said.
In response to a relevant question, Mr. Athanasiou said that the WHO Office in Cyprus will be composed of Cypriot experts, but also of an external expert of the Organization.
