Vaccinations of children aged 5-11 years old continue today and tomorrow in all vaccination centres all over Cyprus from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. only after arranging an appointment.
According to the Ministry of Health yesterday, 640 vaccinations of children aged 5-11 years were carried out, which were arranged at the vaccination centre of the State Fair in Nicosia, with the cooperation of the Cyprus Paediatric Society, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It is reminded that in all vaccination centres Pancyprian on 3 and 4 January from 8 am to 2 pm, children aged 5-11 years will be served, only after arranging an appointment, at the following points:
In Nicosia at the State Fair – centre A' and at the Maternity Protection and Child Welfare Center – Latsia Health Center.
In Limassol at the Spiros Kyprianou Sports Centre – centre A' and at the Maternity Protection and Child Welfare Centre – Old Hospital.
In Larnaca at the Maternity Protection and Child Welfare Center – Old Hospital, in Famagusta at the Maternity Protection and Child Welfare Center – Famagusta Hospital and in Paphos at the Maternity and Child Welfare Protection Center – General Hospital.
The Ministry states that at the same time, at other points of the vaccination centres, on January 3 and 4, people aged 12 years and over will also be served, following an appointment through the Vaccination Portal or through the free walk-in centres from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Due to the increased number of appointments at the State Fair vaccination centers and spyros Kyprianou sports center, the walk-in centers for citizens aged 12 years and over will be open from 2 noon to 6 pm.
In the meantime, as announced by the Minister of Health, today Monday there will be a meeting at Larnaka General Hospital on the pressure on intensive care units and the possible increase of beds.
