The response of citizens regarding the administration of the third dose of the vaccine against the coronavirus was characterized as quite satisfactory by the Deputy Director of Medical Services, Olga Kalakouta.
Speaking on state radio, Ms. Kalakouta stressed that 6,000 people had the possibility of administering the third dose. He noted that 60% of these people received the third dose of the vaccine.
Ms. Kalakouta pointed out the need to administer the third dose, especially to people whose immune response is declining and to people with immunosuppression.
He also said that in the next two days there will be an update of about 30,000 people with diabetes mellitus, who will be able to arrange an appointment for the third dose, through the Vaccination Portal.
Referring to home vaccinations, Ms. Kalakuta estimated that about a thousand people will be vaccinated by home care services.
