Happiness is the smile of every child. With this basic principle, a philanthropic action under the title "Spread Happiness" takes place in the schools of Pafos. The Primary School of Geroskipou B' participates in the action on 22 and 23 October 2021. Students of the schools under the guidance of the teachers painted on white blouses feelings, colours and shapes explaining what "happiness" means to them.
Then on Friday, October 22, they will spread their blouses in a large laundry of happiness in the schoolyard. At the same time, a fundraiser is held at the school and the contribution will be delivered that day to a representative of the Charitable Association "A Dream One Wish", contributing to the realization of wishes of children suffering from cancer and related diseases. The action is supported by the Association of Parents and Guardians of the School.
The event will culminate on Saturday, October 23 at 10:30 in the morning at the main Pedestrian Street of Makarios Avenue in the heart of Paphos, where Primary and Kindergartens of Paphos will spread happiness with a huge laundry of love with blouses. The symbolic goal of children to discern that happiness is in what is around us and in what we already have.
Motorcyclists from Nicosia, Limassol and Paphos will also participate, carrying the star of wishes and continuing the chain of happiness, volunteerism and offer. In the area there will be items of the Association for sale.
The action in Paphos is under the auspices of the Minister of Education.
