Filenews 14 June 2021 - by Dora Christodoulou

The Hospitals of Paphos and Chrysochous Town are now reopening in normal conditions, following the emergency arrangements imposed by the outbreak of the pandemic in previous months and the need to include them in the planning for the hospitalization of our covid-19 fellow human beings.

At Paphos Hospital, after the abolition of the covid ward, the orthopaedic and pathological ward were attributed to the respective clinics of the hospital and as pointed out by its director, Dr Spyros Georgiou, doctors, nurses and patients of these two wards, who had been temporarily housed in other areas of Paphos Hospital, returned to their wards.

The in-patient wards of Chrysochous City Hospital, which had been temporarily suspended, has also been reopened, after doctors and nurses who staffed them were seconded to Paphos and Limassol Hospitals for the staffing of covid wards.
