The beach in Latsi, in Chrysochous Town, is 6th place on the list of the ten "secret" beaches of Europe that proposes to prospective travellers the travel magazine Travel & Leisure. In the same list are two Greek beaches, Psili Ammos beach in Patmos and Ares beach in Halkidiki, located in 4th and 9th place respectively.
For the beach in Latsi the magazine writes that it is located in the giant bay of The City on the pristine northwest edge of Cyprus, stressing that the sea in the area is "like a lukewarm bath" even in October or April.
The list is flanked by beaches located on the coasts of Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Croatia.
