The marginal situation in the hospitals of Cyprus, which have infrastructure for the patients of the crown, has the result that the Paphos Hospital, which since the beginning of the second wave of the pandemic has remained outside the relevant plans, is now being prepared.
The Paphos Hospital, according to OKYY, will follow the dance of changes in this area after the planning and preparations at Larnaca Hospital have already been completed. Subsequently, the procedures will begin in cooperation with the management of Paphos Hospital in order to decide which areas should be used for hospitalization in connection with Covid 19 and what capacity the hospital will be able to offer in this case. Based on initial estimates and audits, it is estimated that around 30 patients will be able to be admitted to Paphos Hospital when a need arises.
The implementation of the plans to make Paphos Hospital a hospital for the reception of patients with the virus, according to the officials, presupposes changes in its other departments and clinics, in order to allow some of the staff to be released from other duties and for those nurses to deal exclusively with the virus patients.
