Sampling under the rapid antigen testing programme continues tomorrow, Wednesday 2 December, in parallel with the checks targeted at nursing homes, rehabilitation centres and other closed structures, as well as in various Departments and Services of the public and wider public sector.
The sampling units for the control of the general population will be located on Wednesday, 2 December 2020, at the following points:
Limassol
- Temple of Apostle Andreas and Timios Prodromos, Mesa Neighbourhood, 8.30 a.m.-4.30 p.m.
Larnaca
- Sklavenitis Supermarket Parking (S. Kyprianou Avenue), 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
- METRO supermarket parking lot, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Nicosia
- Lakatamia Town Hall (covered parking, south side), 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Strovolos Municipal Hall, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Apostolos Andreas Church, Aglantzia (Kyrenia Avenue), 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Baptist Post Office, Strovolos, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Paphos
- Pe grounding Faucet Square, Pegia (parking), 10.30 a.m.-5 p.m.
- King's Avenue Mall, Paphos, 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
The programme is aimed at all citizens, especially and with priority, those employed in public service areas, distributors and frontline professionals.
Citizens will be informed of the result of their laboratory examination by text message within 24 hours, but also in writing, if they wish, by the mobile units within 30 minutes of sampling.
The Ministry of Health thanks the Local Authorities for their willingness and cooperation.
