Continuing the interventions for the creation of modern and navel sports and recreation areas for the youth of the city, the Municipality of Paphos proceeded to sign the contract for the upgrading of six sports venues, with a total cost of €255,000.
The upgrade projects concern the two sports areas located on Alexandroupolis Avenue, the two spaces located on Kaningos Street, the Ahmed Rashid plots, the area on Agios Dionysios Street in the area of the Swimming Pool and the area on Midhat Pasha Street in Muttalos.
Expensive surfaces and new equipment will be installed in these areas, while fences, floorings, lighting reinforcement and other improvement work will be carried out immediately and are expected to be completed within three months.
The project is 85% funded by the C.O.A., under the Social Sports Development Plan.
