With an amount of around 115 thousand euros, the Municipality of Paphos promotes the complete cleaning of the municipal area by the inert materials that have accumulated over the years in all areas of the city.
The Municipal Council of Paphos yesterday approved the relevant offer to a company, aiming at the inert materials to be collected and removed from the areas that had been deposited all previous years, creating a miserable aesthetic image for many parts of Paphos, but also real hygiene risks.
Among the sites that will now be cleaned from these materials is the Wholesale Market of the Municipality of Paphos, on the border with the Municipality of Geroskipou, which is the most typical example of the unacceptable tactics of decades in this field.
