The Ministry of Health informs that of the 7,614 tests carried out today, 4,401 were carried out using the rapid test method, with 114 positive results. Specifically, 17 positive results were found in Limassol (14 out of 17 from a nursing home), 25 in Larnaca, 14 in Famagusta, 8 in Paphos, 49 in Nicosia.
According to information, the 14 positive results from rapid tests from nursing homes/other closed structures in Limassol Province, all concern the nursing home Panagia 2 in Limassol, where there is already an influx of cases. This is a member of staff and 13 people living there. For the 14 persons, the PCR verification process will normally be carried out and will be reported as cases or not.
