PAFOS REGION - HOSTING WEDDING PLANNERS FROM POLAND - 3/11
As part of the ongoing efforts by the Pafos Regional Board of Tourism (PRBT) to promote Pafos as one of the most attractive and romantic destinations for weddings and honeymoons in the Mediterranean, a significant familiarization trip (fam trip) is being organized.
Five specialized wedding planners from Poland will be hosted in Pafos between November 2 and 5, 2026.
The primary objective of this visit is to bring Polish industry professionals into direct contact with the infrastructure, services, and unique locations that the Pafos district has to offer. During their four-day stay, the guests will have the opportunity to tour hotel resorts, meet with municipal wedding officers, and explore traditional venues, alternative wedding locations, and historical monuments that serve as ideal backdrops for high-end wedding events.
The Polish market demonstrates a steadily growing interest in Cyprus and Pafos, supported by an extensive airline network.
This specific initiative is expected to significantly enhance the networking opportunities between local businesses and international planners, creating strong potential for an increase in destination weddings across the region. Through the firsthand experiences they will acquire, the Polish organizers will be fully equipped to promote Pafos as a comprehensive, high-quality choice for couples looking to get married or spend their honeymoon on the island.
The hospitality initiative is organized with the support of local tourism stakeholders, the hotel industry, and the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, underscoring a collective commitment to upgrading and enriching the tourism product of Pafos, with a particular focus on niche and thematic tourism.
