For many years, on the 1st Thursday of the month Phil Willcock hosted the Phoenix Club's Folk and Music night. However he has now decided to step down and very many thanks have to go to him for his dedicated efforts. It was a showcase of quality local talent, as well as featuring his own wonderful music so it's a difficult act to follow however sometimes it's good to ring the changes so we are trying a new format. Led by Mick Dawson on Thursday 3rd September it will be our first regular Open Mic Night. Practice your party piece and have your moment in the spotlight.
