CYPRUS MEASURES THE READINESS OF BUSINESSES FOR E-INVOICING - Filenews 21/9
The degree of readiness of Cypriot businesses for e-invoicing and digital reporting is assessed by the competent authorities, through a questionnaire prepared in the context of the work of the Interdepartmental Group.
The initiative is part of the preparation for the significant changes expected in the coming years at European and national level. The new requirements are estimated to affect invoicing and data submission processes, as well as information systems and the internal operations of businesses.
As stated by the Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB) in a briefing to its members, the questionnaire aims to record the current situation and the degree of preparation of the business community.
At the same time, it seeks to identify potential challenges, adaptation needs and guidance and support measures that could facilitate the transition to the new framework.
The responses are expected to contribute to a more accurate capture of the needs of the Cypriot business community and to the planning of the next steps for the implementation of e-invoicing in Cyprus.
The questionnaire is available in Greek and English and must be completed by the end of Sunday, September 27, 2026.
