YELLOW WEATHER WARNING AGAIN TODAY, 9/8 FROM 1pm to 4pm - Filenews 9/8
A new yellow warning for extreme temperatures has been issued by the Department of Meteorology.
The warning comes into effect today from 13:00pm to 16:00 pm.
The maximum temperature is expected to rise to 40 degrees Celsius inland.

Today, the weather will be mostly clear. Winds will be mainly southwest to northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and gradually locally to strong, 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little rough. The temperature will rise to 40 degrees inland, around 32 on the southwest and west coasts, around 36 on the rest of the coasts and 30 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear, however locally there will be increased low clouds from time to time. Winds will be mainly northwest to northeast, light, 3 Beaufort. The sea will gradually become calm to a little rough. The temperature will drop to 21 degrees inland, around 23 degrees on the coast and coast and 19 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather will be mostly clear, however in the afternoon hours there will be temporarily increased clouds, mainly in the mountains, which on Tuesday and Wednesday may give isolated rains.
The temperature until Wednesday will not change significantly and will remain slightly above the average climatic values.
