CUT will operate the first Sports Academy based in Paphos. This was revealed by the Rector, Panagiotis Zafiris, in his statements to "F", referring to studies that are already being prepared by the institution for this purpose.
Most likely, this Academy will have two study programs, he said, the first of which will concern sports management issues and the second purely sports issues.
In Paphos, the University of Technology will also give a degree in food studies from the coming years, Mr. Zafiris also announced, something that he said was already announced during this year's first graduation ceremony held in Paphos at the end of June.
The Rector of the academic institution expressed his great joy for the historic event of the graduation of the first batch of CUT students in Paphos, speaking of a long road, with difficulties, but also many successes as he pointed out.
We now have the pleasure of having the first 105 graduates from our school in Paphos, a fact that gives us feelings of pride and I am sure that it gives the same feelings to the city and the people of Paphos.
