‘JOEPSCOOP’’ RETURNS TO RADIO ON SAPPHIRE RADIO.COM
From the music business and YouTube interviews to a new generation of online radio.
Joepscoop is back on the radio — and
this time there are no limits to where you can listen.
For Joep Klinkenbijl , music and radio
are certainly nothing new.
Music has been a major part of his life for decades, He was working in the music business and many years as a DJ on radio with his Double Dutch Shows and now creating Joepscoop as a platform for music, interviews and entertainment.
Joepscoop also found years ago a new
audience on YouTube, where he interviewed artists and personalities from the
music world, including Gerry Marsden of Gerry and the Pacemakers, Pamm Aers,
Chris King and many more.
Those interviews gave Joepscoop a very
personal connection with the people behind the music — not simply talking about
records, but talking to the artists themselves, their careers, memories and
stories.
Now Joep is taking the next step.
Joepscoop is joining Sapphire Radio, bringing his experience, enthusiasm and huge love for music back behind the microphone.
But radio itself has changed
dramatically.
There was a time when radio meant a
frequency, a transmitter and an antenna. Today, radio can travel across the
world through the internet.
Sapphire Radio is online — meaning
listeners are no longer limited by an FM signal or geographical boundaries.
For Joep, this new form of radio combines the best of both worlds: the spontaneity and personality of traditional radio with the possibilities of modern online broadcasting.
The result is Joepscoop: music from the
1950s to today, stories, interviews, information, requests, memories and plenty
of surprises — presented in Joep's own relaxed and unmistakable style.
After decades in the music business,
radio and entertainment, Joep is back where it started : behind the microphone
in the Joepscoop Afternoon Show
Mondays Thursdays Fridays — 12:00 to
14:00 on
www.SapphireRadio.com — online, worldwide.
The frequency has disappeared. The
music hasn't, so… Joepscoop is back.
