With torrential rains and hail in the area of Polis Chrysochous and with very strong winds throughout the low area of Paphos, the deterioration of the weather phenomena in the province of Paphos began.
The most intense phenomena are recorded from 10 in the morning in the Chrysochous apartment and in the Panagia area, where hail fell, while heavy rains are also falling. In the Chrysochous area, incidents of trees falling from the strong winds were also recorded, with the competent services being on full alert in the area. So far, however, a competent source told "F", the situation is nevertheless under control, while it was not necessary, apart from the case of falling trees, for the Fire Brigade to intervene on the issue of rainfall.
In the area of the city of Paphos and the low-lying area, the rains are still very light and local, while the main characteristic of the deterioration of the weather phenomena is the strong winds, the pitch-black sky and the thunder that are heard very strongly.
