ROAD AT ENTRANCE OF KONIA CLOSED FROM 9-19 JULY - Pafos Live 6/7
The road at the entrance of Konia, on the border with the municipality of Paphos, will remain closed for ten days for the completion of the works that are already being carried out on the bridge of the stream that separates the two local authorities.
According to a post by the mayor of Paphos, Angelos Onisiforos, the road will remain closed from Thursday 9/7 to Saturday 19/7, in order to complete the last works on the project, especially at the point of the bridge, where more time is required for their safe and proper completion.
At the end of the works, he notes, the road will be given to traffic as a two-way street, significantly facilitating the movement of all citizens.
Mr. Onisiforou acknowledges that this delay and temporary disruption have caused inconvenience to the daily lives of the residents of the area, but asks for their understanding, so that the works can be completed safely and in the best possible way, for the benefit of all.
