KONIA - TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT OF THE PROJECT ''IMPROVEMENT OF A SECTION OF MAKARIOS III AVENUE IN THE AREAS OF THE MUNICIPALITIES OF PAPHOS AND IEROKIPIA - Pafos Press 7/7
The Municipality of Paphos announces that within the framework of the works of the Project “Improvement of a section of Archbishop Makarios III Avenue in the areas of the Municipalities of Paphos and Hierokipia (Konya)”, including works on the road surface and sidewalks, it is necessary to temporarily completely close a section of Archbishop Makarios III Avenue, from the height of its intersection with Achepans Street to the height of its intersection with Griva Street, for the execution of the required works.
The works will start at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, 9/7/2026 and will be completed on 18/7/2026.
To avoid any inconvenience to the public, a Traffic Management Plan has been prepared to minimize the impact on the road network. Depending on the progress of the works, the corresponding traffic regulations will be made.
Drivers are requested to use the side roads to avoid traffic congestion and inconvenience.
Achepans Street will serve both directions of traffic.
The Municipality of Paphos assures the public that it is making every possible effort to cause the least possible inconvenience from the execution of this important project and asks for their cooperation and understanding.
