Change of baton in the leadership of PASYXE, with Mr. Thanos Michailidis handing over the Presidency of the Association to Mr. Giannos Pantazis after three years of contribution in the context of the Annual General Assembly of PASYXE.
This year's Annual General Assembly of PASYXE, which coincides with the 90th anniversary of the Association, was held at the Hilton Hotel in Nicosia, in the presence of the President of the Republic, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, the Speaker of the Parliament, Ms. Annita Demetriou and other officials and economic agents of the country.
In his first statement as the new President of PASYXE, Mr. Yiannos Pantazis, praised the valuable contribution and work done by Mr. Thanos Michailidis, expressing the certainty that he is leaving the presidency, but will continue to be on the side of the Association. "Fully aware of the responsibility, I undertake tasks aimed at enhancing, to the extent possible, the progress of the hotel industry and tourism in the country. I will work to justify the trust shown in me by the members of PASYXE and I look forward to a constructive cooperation with the General Director, the secretariat and the members of the Board of Directors and the Association in general."
In addition to the change in the Presidency, in the context of the Annual General Assembly, the new Board of Directors of PASYXE was also elected, consisting of:
