The two friends, the well-known TikToker Panagiotis Karagiannis (Panavarino) and Christos Palas, saw a huge seal swimming a short distance from them, its size inspiring awe. The impressive marine mammal is close to three meters long.

From the video seen, according to marine life experts, this is an adult female who was in the process of searching for food by hunting fish, hence the characteristic movement that emerges above the surface of the sea.
The two young men maintained their composure and, without disturbing the animal, recorded these unique images, offering a rare snapshot of the rich marine life of Cyprus.
The appearance of the seal is yet another reminder that the Cypriot seas are home to rare and protected species and that, with respect and responsibility, humans can coexist harmoniously with the natural environment.
