Crews of the Limassol Municipality proceeded to an immediate intervention, removing stakes on Theklas Lysioti Street, in order to ensure the smooth boarding and disembarkation of students in front of school units in the area.
The action is part of the actions of the Municipality after the 11-point letter sent to the Ministry of Transport, requesting corrective interventions in the projects carried out by the Public Works, as - as reported - the installation of piles at this point continued today.
The Mayor of Limassol, in a post on social media, emphasizes the need for proper implementation of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP), stressing that interventions must be made with planning and without sloppiness, in order to ensure the functionality and safety of the city for students, residents and drivers.
