LANE CLOSURE ON EUROPE AVENUE DUE TO CONSTRUCTION WORKS 25 June to 21 September - Pafos Press 25/6
Traffic regulations are being implemented on Europe Avenue, as part of the works for the project "Construction of Egnatia Avenue and other roads in the NEAPOLIS Project".
According to an announcement by the Municipality of Paphos, due to the works that include interventions in the road surface, it is necessary to occupy one lane of Europe Avenue, at its junction with Egnatia Avenue, in the direction towards Geroskipou.
The works will begin at 7:00 in the morning on Thursday, June 25, 2026 and are expected to be completed on September 21, 2026.
The project is being implemented by the private company Pantelides Bros Co Ltd, as part of private development, within the municipal boundaries of the Municipality of Paphos and the Municipality of Hierokipia, in the Geroskipou district.
In order to avoid inconvenience to the public, a Traffic Management Plan has been prepared, with the aim of minimizing the impact on the road network. Depending on the progress of the works, the corresponding traffic regulations will be implemented.
The Municipality of Paphos calls on drivers to use side roads, where possible, in order to avoid traffic congestion and inconvenience.
At the same time, the Municipality assures the public that every possible effort is being made to limit the inconvenience caused by the execution of this important project and asks for the cooperation and understanding of citizens.
