The mayor of Paphos, Angelos Onisiforou, criticizes a portion of vendors who were active in the flood festival in Paphos.
As they left, they left behind the piles of garbage which were cleaned by the municipality's crews.
As he states in his post, respect for the environment, public property and our fellow human beings is an elementary obligation for everyone. Unfortunately, some seem to have neither the necessary conscience nor the required respect, leaving behind images that insult the city.
He even warned that those who exhibit such behaviours will not be able to expect to secure a license to operate in the Flood next year.
"Tolerance for pollution and disrespect has limits. Warm congratulations to the staff of the Municipality of Paphos, who with professionalism, coordination and dynamism worked immediately to restore this unacceptable situation and restore cleanliness to the area."
