An extension until July 9, 2026, at 14:00, was given for the electronic submission of applications for state student welfare for the academic year 2025-2026.
The Sponsorship and Allowances Service of the Ministry of Finance announced that the deadline is extended from June 25, 2026, at 10:00, in order to address errors identified during the submission of applications and to enable beneficiaries who did not submit an application on time to complete the process.
During the application process, the OCT identified cases of incorrect submission of applications as listed below:
submitting applications with an incorrect alien registration number (ARC),
submission of applications by parents with registration of student status instead of their correct status as applicant parents, and
Submission of applications by the students themselves, instead of by their parents, as provided by the relevant legislative provisions.
Therefore, in order to be able to deal with the above cases but also for the smooth completion of the required procedures, and in order to ensure that persons who, for any reason, did not submit an application within the specified deadline will not be excluded, student families are invited to submit their applications electronically to https://sg-yxe.mof.gov.cy, in a timely manner and with correct information.
It is clarified that the submission of applications will not be possible after the expiration of the aforementioned deadline.
