A total of 4.021 people have been deported from the Republic of Cyprus, from the beginning of the year until today, the Police reports.

According to today's post by the Police, members of the Aliens and Migration Service (IAM) recently participated in a joint forced return operation of the FRONTEX Agency, in the context of which third-country nationals residing illegally in the territory of the Republic of Cyprus were repatriated – deported.

As reported, this is the 10th participation of the Cyprus Police in joint FRONTEX return operations for 2026, which confirms "the continuous cooperation with the European institutions for the effective management of irregular migration".
