The Municipality of Polis Chrysochous continues its actions to enhance accessibility to the beaches of the area, with the repositioning of the Sea Track systems on the beaches of Takka and Polis Chrysochous Municipal Beach.
These special systems enable people with disabilities and mobility difficulties to have safe, autonomous and dignified access to the sea, contributing substantially to the equal participation of all in the enjoyment of the natural environment and summer activities.
The municipal authority points out that accessibility is a fundamental right and not a luxury, underlining its ongoing commitment to implementing projects and infrastructure that make the city and its beaches more friendly and accessible for both citizens and visitors.
As mentioned, any initiative that promotes equality and social inclusion is an important step towards an inclusive society. The sea is a commodity that belongs to everyone and ensuring access for every citizen is a priority for the Municipality.
Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy the summer on the beautiful and fully accessible beaches of Polis Chrysochous, which now offer even more possibilities for comfortable and safe access to the sea.
The announcement was welcomed by the Deputy Mayor of Polis Chrysochous, Mr. Giorgos Georgiou, stressing the importance of the continuous upgrading of accessibility infrastructure for the benefit of all citizens.
