POLICE - 27 PEOPLE ILLEGALLY RESIDING IN CYPRUS HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED - 17 ARE LEAVING TODAY FOR THEIR COUNTRIES - Filenews 11/5



The Aliens and Migration Service arrested 27 third-country nationals, who were residing illegally in the Republic of Cyprus, as part of a coordinated operation carried out today on a nationwide basis.

According to the Police, the 27 persons were identified during the operation and arrested, as it was found that they remained illegally on the territory of the Republic.

Of those arrested, 17 are leaving today for their countries of origin, while for the rest of the persons their repatriation procedures are underway.
