In recent days, there have been reports from citizens about receiving messages on their mobile phones regarding allegedly unpaid out-of-court traffic tickets.
In the messages there is a link with which the fraudsters call on the citizens to open it to proceed with the payment of an out-of-court bill, with the intention of extracting personal or bank data and money.
The Police call on the public to be especially careful and not to respond to such messages.
In particular:
-Do not open links sent via messages/SMS/emails from unknown or suspicious senders.
-Do not enter personal or banking information on suspicious websites.
-Always check with the relevant authorities before taking any action
