INSTALLATION OF NEW BUS STOPS AND SHELTERS IN MUNICIPALITY OF IEROKIPIA - Pafos Live 9/5
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, through the Department of Public Works, is implementing a nationwide program to upgrade public transport infrastructure with the installation of new bus stops and shelters, in the context of the strategy for sustainable mobility and strengthening the use of public transport.
The Municipality of Ierokipia participates in this program and the first new stops and the first bus shelters have already begun to be installed in the Municipal Beach of Geroskipou (Germaninas Street) and in the tourist area (Goddess Aphrodite Avenue), to serve the passenger public.The project is co-funded by the Cohesion Policy Programme "THALIA 2021-2027" and the European Regional Development Fund, with the aim of improving the passenger experience, increasing the use of public transport and reducing the environmental impact of travel.
