The first screening of the DIGIPOL Portal took place today at the Traffic Education Park. It is a digital portal, whose main goal is to improve and simplify procedures, through automated and digitized services.
Through the GOV portal.CY #DigiPol gives access to more than 30 Police services, such as the issuance of a criminal record certificate, the provision of police reports and the submission of a declaration for the loss of an identity card.
Through Digipol, the Police modernizes services and internal procedures, enhancing efficiency, transparency and citizen service."

The presentation was attended by the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, the Deputy Chief of Police, as well as the partners of the Police for the implementation of the project – The Research Center for Research and Innovation of the University of Cyprus KIOS, the contractor company selected following an open tender NETU and other bodies from partner Ministries and services of the Republic.
This project was placed under the supervision of the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy and is funded by the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility under the Cyprus Recovery and Resilience Plan.

All services that will be included in the DigiPol digital portal will be gradually made available to the public from mid-May to mid-June, offering an easy and fully digitized service. Citizens are urged to try to carry out their requests in the digital environment of the DIGIPOL Police.
