COCKTAIL OF DUST AND STRONG WIND, WITH HIGHER TEMPERATURES - Filenews 17/5
Weak low pressure affects the area. Thin dust will be suspended in the atmosphere from time to time.
Today, initially there will be locally increased low clouds, especially on the coasts, however the weather will soon become mostly clear with temporarily increased average and high clouds. The winds will blow mainly from the south, initially light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and soon moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort, while in the east the winds will blow up to very strong, 5 to 6 Beaufort. The sea will generally be a little rough. The temperature will rise to around 32 degrees inland, around 29 on the north coast, around 26 on the rest of the coast and around 21 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, there will be increased low clouds in places, especially in the west and north and temporarily in the rest of the areas. The winds will blow mainly northwest, on the south coast light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and in the rest of the areas moderate and temporarily to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort, while locally in the windward mountains they may blow up to very strong, 6 Beaufort. The sea will generally remain a little rough. The temperature will drop to around 16 degrees inland, around 17 on the coast and around 12 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Monday, in the morning hours there will be locally increased low clouds, however the weather will soon become mostly clear.
On Tuesday, the weather will remain mostly clear with temporarily increased clouds, however in the evening it will gradually become mostly cloudy with medium clouds, which are expected to give local rains. On Wednesday, the weather will be mostly cloudy at times, while rain is expected in places and after noon an isolated storm is possible, mainly in the east.
The temperature until Tuesday is not expected to change appreciably, remaining close to and slightly above normal levels for the season, however on Wednesday a drop in temperature is expected, to fluctuate below them.
