The Municipality of Polis Chrysochous welcomed yesterday European Commissioners in the context of their official visit to Cyprus, in the framework of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
During the visit, a guided tour of the Museum of the Sea and Culture in Latchi was held, where the officials had the opportunity to get to know the rich maritime history, cultural heritage and the timeless relationship of the region with the sea.
The European Commissioners expressed their enthusiasm and appreciation for the quality and uniqueness of the museum, underlining the importance of preserving and highlighting the cultural identity of local communities.
