Asked about the weather in the coming days, Mr. Chrysanthou said that until Wednesday the weather will be mostly clear with occasional high and medium clouds.
In relation to the possibility of dust in the atmosphere, he replied that from Easter Tuesday dust will be suspended in the atmosphere until next weekend, adding that from Thursday onwards, from time to time, dust concentrations will be increased.
Mr. Chrysanthou went on to say that on Thursday the scene will change as the area will gradually begin to be affected by low pressure with medium and high clouds, while the wind field mainly in the coastal areas will be strengthened. On Friday, he said, isolated rains are expected, which may be accompanied by thunder and an enhanced wind field especially in coastal areas.
Over the weekend, it seems that the disturbance that will be west of the island will affect more and possibly give isolated rains and/or isolated thunderstorms, he explained.
Regarding the temperature, he said that until Thursday there is a noticeable rise in temperature to a level above the average temperatures of the season and then on Friday a drop in temperature is expected, which will be accompanied by the phenomena of rains and isolated thunderstorms on Saturday and Sunday.
He also clarified that the average temperatures for the season are 21 to 22 degrees Celsius, adding that on Easter Tuesday the predicted temperature is around 24 degrees Celsius inland, and on Wednesday and Thursday it will rise further to fluctuate around 26 to 28 degrees Celsius, to be followed by a drop of 3-4 degrees Celsius on Friday.

Weak high pressure affects the area until Wednesday, while low pressure is expected gradually from Thursday. Dust will be suspended in the atmosphere from today, the concentrations of which are expected to be increased at times.
Today, the weather will initially be mostly clear, however gradually there will be increased average and high clouds. Winds will be mainly northeast to southeast, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and temporarily in the north, east and south coasts moderate, 4 Beaufort. The sea will initially be calm to a little rough, however temporarily in the north, east and south it will be a little rough. The temperature will rise to around 24 degrees inland, around 23 on the southeast and east coasts, around 21 in the southwest, west and north coasts and around 16 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, there will be increased average and high clouds. Winds will blow northwest to northeast and on the north coast southeast, weak, 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little rough in the west and a little rough on the rest of the coast.
On Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will be particularly warm for the season, while increased average and high clouds will be observed from time to time.
On Friday, a disturbance in the west of the island will affect the area. The weather will be cloudy at times mainly with medium and high clouds, which are expected to give isolated rains, which in some cases may be accompanied by thunder. The wind field will be enhanced, especially in coastal areas.
The temperature is expected to rise noticeably until Thursday, to fluctuate above normal levels for the season, however on Friday a drop in temperature is expected, but to remain close and slightly above the average climatic values of the season.
