Britain is strengthening its anti-aircraft presence in Cyprus by deploying Stormer air defense vehicles.

In a statement from the UK Ministry of Defence, British troops shot down 14 drones overnight in a high-threat area, recording the highest number of shootdowns in a single night.

The ministry also said that additional British Army Stormer air defense systems have arrived in Cyprus, further strengthening air defenses in the area.

At the same time, Royal Air Force Typhoon and F-35 fighter jets continued their defensive missions overnight, including flights over Cyprus, Jordan and Qatar.

The Ministry of Defense also noted that force protection measures remain at the highest level, aimed at the safety of personnel, while underlining that Britain continues to work closely with allies in the region.
