Some flights to and from the airports of Cyprus are cancelled after the start of US and Israeli operations against Iran.
According to information from the management company of the Cypriot airports Hermes Airports, 250 passengers have been affected by the cancellations so far.
Specifically, in Larnaca all flights to and from Israel have been cancelled, while in Paphos Air Haifa flights and Ryan Air flights to Amman have been cancelled.
In the morning, a Wizz Air flight from Larnaca to Tel Aviv had departed at 7:35 and returned back to Cyprus.
Regarding Larnaca Airport, the arrival of a Wizz Air flight from Tel Aviv at 13:20 was cancelled. Two departures were also cancelled, one by Wizz Air to Abu Dhabi scheduled for 14:25 and one by SunDor to Tel Aviv scheduled at 20:55.
As for tomorrow, the arrival of the Tus Air flight from Israel at 19:05 was cancelled and the departure of the flight also of Tus Air to Israel, which was scheduled to take place at 12:00 noon, was cancelled.
As far as Paphos airport is concerned, the arrival of Air Haifa's flight from Haifa, which was to take place today at 16:00, was cancelled, and the departure of the Air Haifa flight, which would take place today at 16:55, was cancelled.
In addition, two Wizz Air flight diversions have taken place so far Budapest – Amman and Sofia – Tel Aviv. The passengers disembarked at Larnaca Airport and are expected to depart to return to Budapest and Sofia respectively.
