PAFOS REGIONAL TOURISM BOARD AT THE BIRMINGHAM WEDDING EXHIBITION
In another joint effort, the Pafos Regional Tourism Board, the Municipalities of the District, and local tourism partners are joining forces to further elevate the Pafos District in the preferences of couples-to-be and to strengthen Pafos’ position as one of the Mediterranean’s most popular destinations for wedding ceremonies and honeymoon travel.
Remaining committed to the implementation of its action plan and with a clear focus on the development of wedding and honeymoon tourism, Pafos stakeholders will participate this coming weekend in the well-known, specialized Birmingham Wedding Show, taking place on 28 February and 1 March 2026 in the United Kingdom.
Specifically, with the support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and under the coordination of the Pafos Regional Tourism Board, the Municipalities of Pafos, Ierokipia and Akamas, a number of hoteliers, and a wedding planner, will participate collectively under one umbrella at the exhibition space created especially for the Destination Pafos region – Cyprus.
The Pafos region, known as the Birthplace of Aphrodite- Goddess of Love and Beauty is already highly popular as a destination for weddings and honeymoons. This unified and well-structured initiative further enhances the momentum for the continued development of this form of tourism, generating multiple positive benefits for both the local and the wider Cypriot economy.
